The next SIAM Career Fair will take place virtually Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. EDT and 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. EDT. For students, early career professionals, and other job seeking members of our community, the career fair will offer a terrific networking opportunity.

New this year, SIAM has partnered with Zhennovate to offer the SIAM BIG Job-Hunting Bootcamp this fall to help you prepare for the SIAM Virtual Career Fair and beyond. Over the weeks leading up to the SIAM Virtual Career Fair and through December 31, 2021, the SIAM BIG Job-Hunting Bootcamp will engage participants in live group workshops and on-demand professional development resources to help them learn more about the job hunting process, careers in academia versus industry, understanding job descriptions, developing a good resume, and how to prepare for interviews. We hope that the SIAM Virtual Career Fair and supplemental professional development program will equalize opportunities for job seeking members of SIAM, providing training as well as opportunity to network with technical staff and recruiters from companies large and small, and from a cross-section of national labs.
During the November 9th career fair, employers will be recruiting for interns, postdocs, and fulltime positions. Registration for the career fair is free for jobseekers. To participate, you simply need to be a SIAM member. If you are a student, please note that you can be nominated for free membership by any non-student member of SIAM.
