Funding Opportunity: 2018 Mathematical Multifaceted Integrated Capability Centers

The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR) has announced a new funding opportunity in applied mathematics entitled “2018 Mathematical Multifaceted Integrated Capability Centers (MMICCs).” This announcement is open to universities, industry, non-profit organizations, and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), including the DOE National Laboratories.

The purpose is to invite proposals for basic research that address DOE mission challenges from a perspective that requires new integrated efforts across multiple mathematical, statistical, and computational disciplines.

Pre-proposals are required, and the submission deadline is April 30, 2018 at 5 PM EST.

The Encourage/Discourage date is May 4, 2018 at 5 PM EST.

The submission deadline for full proposals is May 23, 2018 at 5 PM EST.
