The team here at SIAM has grown recently, bringing aboard Christian Catrambone as the Marketing and Communications Associate.
Christian attended the University of the Arts for animation and Penn State for new media and design. He started his career in membership development and marketing at Freedom Credit Union, and more recently, worked at Redeemer Health System as their Digital Specialist, where he managed their website redesign and implementation. During his free time he does freelance illustrations, one of which was for a book series that recently published! For fun, Christian enjoys music, playing guitar, online gaming, and hiking and kayaking on the weekends.

Q: Why are you excited to be working at SIAM?
A: I am excited to work at SIAM and be a part of an organization that brings real information and opportunities to people who need it. I am looking forward to being a part of a passionate community that works hard to improve the lives of others.
Q: Why do you think STEM is important?
A: STEM is incredibly important because it has real, tangible benefits on people’s day-to-day lives. Whether you pursue a career in science, technology, engineering, or math, all of these fields improve the world around us in incredible ways. Look how far technology has advanced just in my lifetime!
Q: What is one thing that most people do not know about you?
A: I took a pottery class during my senior year of college and fell in love with the physical medium. I found it to be a perfect marriage of art and design. I now take a little time each day to get away from life’s many distractions and just work on a new piece (that I’m sure I won’t have room to properly display in my house).
