Did you know - SIAM has revitalized the Visiting Lecturer Program! The program provides the SIAM community with a roster of experienced applied mathematicians and computational scientists in industry, government, and academia, who can speak on topics that are of interest to developing professional mathematicians. Idea Machine Competition: Submit Your Idea
Help identify areas for future research. The National Science Foundation 2026 Idea Machine, a competition asking for community input on the next set of grand challenge questions for future research, is now accepting ideas! Any idea for future themes in science, engineering, and education research that go beyond NSF’s existing portfolio is welcome. SIAM is (Still) Hiring!
SIAM is currently seeking a Director of Programs and Services (as well as a Director of Development and Corporate Relations, and Customer Service Representative). The Director of Programs and Services is responsible for the oversight and management of programs and projects mostly concentrated on the society’s membership and conference programs.
