SIAM Science Policy Fellowship - Applications Due November 25

SIAM is accepting applications for the Science Policy Fellowship Program, open to all early career researchers currently working in the U.S. This program was created to enable post-doctoral fellows and early career researchers to be strong advocates for federal investments in applied mathematics and computational science. Benefits of this fellowship include receiving in-person and remote training; attending biannual SIAM Committee on Science Policy meetings in Washington, D.C.; working with federal officials; and participating in an advocacy day on Capitol Hill. The application deadline is November 25, 2019. Learn more and apply for the fellowship.

Invite a Visiting Lecturer to Speak at Your Institution

The SIAM Visiting Lecture Program (VLP) is an opportunity for institutions to invite inspirational applied mathematicians and computational scientists to speak at their campuses. For the month of November, we are featuring VLP speakers Kerisha Burke (Category Management Analyst at Phillips 66), Allen Butler (President & CEO of Daniel H. Wagner Associates, Inc.), Joe Callender (Executive Director at EY), and Carolyn Cho (Director and Sr. Principal Scientist at Merck Research Laboratories).
