For the past 11 years, SIAM student chapters have been invited to send representatives to the SIAM Annual Meeting to present their research in special minisymposia sessions organized by SIAM Education Committee chair, currently Peter Turner of Clarkson University.
“There has been extensive growth of student chapters, and student membership in general, over the past 11 years. These minisymposia provide an excellent showcase for some of our students’ work and enable chapter representatives to benefit from the meeting.”
