The Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference aims to inspire and educate data scientists, regardless of gender. There is a lack of women in these fields, which is why conferences such as WiDS are so important, and why SIAM supports this great opportunity to learn about the latest data science-related research and to hear from established women in the field!
Registration is now open for the WiDS Conference happening at Stanford University on February 3, 2017, and 25+ locations worldwide.
WiDS is a one-day technical conference that provides an opportunity to hear about the latest data science-related research in multiple domains, learn how leading-edge companies are leveraging data science for success, and connect with potential mentors, collaborators, and others in the field. You can get a feeling for the conference by watching the short video below from our inaugural conference. Speakers will cover machine learning, artificial intelligence, fintech, geosciences, data visualization, bioinformatics, and data science in manufacturing and the Internet of Things (IoT).
