The past decade has seen an explosion of applications of algebra, geometry, and topology to the real world. As such, the SIAM community has voiced a need for a research journal to cover the emerging area of applied algebra and geometry, and we’ve responded.
Newly launched and beginning to publish in February, the SIAM Journal on Applied Algebra and Geometry, led by Bernd Sturmfels as Editor-in-Chief, will showcase world-class researchers and their groundbreaking work on the development of algebraic, geometric, and topological methods with strong connection to applications.
