Mathematical Resources to Help Understand COVID-19

Scientists around the world have mobilized to understand the novel coronavirus outbreak, to develop ways to slow its spread, and to provide quantitative guidance to policy makers. As a professional STEM society, it is part of our responsibility to help facilitate a better understanding of this virus and the research surrounding it. That’s why we have collected the resources below - to highlight some of this work and the mathematical tools on which it is based. We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available and hope these resources will help mobilize the SIAM community. If you know of a great resource you’d like to add, please join the conversation by sharing valuable resources in the comment section of this post.
