Giving Tuesday is December 1! Support a Cause Important to You

SIAM is proud to take part in Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving that kicks off the holiday season. Last year, 50,000+ organizations across 150 countries participated, raising more than $1.9 billion!

On Tuesday, December 1, please consider supporting our mission with your donation, or choose any cause that is important to you. During this atypical year, we are thankful for the generosity, flexibility, and continuous support of our members and friends who have played such an important role in keeping our community active and engaged as we all continue to face unique challenges. Your financial contribution allows us to continue adapting in order to provide the resources and support our membership and community need right now. If you can, please donate

When you choose to support our mission of promoting applied mathematics, you are actively helping us to:

  • Enhance the global landscape of applied mathematics and computational science
  • Increase student interest in and awareness of STEM-related fields
  • Recognize and publicize important developments and novel applications in the field of applied mathematics
  • Engage people from underrepresented groups in STEM fields
  • Work with policymakers in Washington, D.C., to advocate for science funding

Interested in specific ways your dollars can help?

  • $25 donation allows SIAM to provide one student with free membership for a year
  • 4 donations of $100 allow us to reimburse a SIAM Conference attendee for up to a week's worth of child care services incurred as a result of participation in the conference
  • $1,000 donation allows SIAM to support two student chapters for one year

Whether it's through time, skills, voice, or dollars, everyone has the capacity to give. Join us this year for #GivingTuesday! Donate to SIAM today.
