SIAM's Education Committee invites submissions for presentations at the 2021 SIAM Annual Meeting (AN21) which will take place virtually, July 19-23, 2021.
The Education Committee is organizing sessions for AN21 based on undergraduate research in all areas of applied and computational mathematics. Research should have been completed during the speakers’ undergraduate education.
Interested students should apply here by April 19, 2021. Those applying will be asked to provide a title, abstract, and the names and affiliation of the presenter, co-authors, and advisor(s). The abstract is limited to 1,400 characters including spaces. Decisions will be made by May 5, 2021.
For AN21, SIAM Student Travel Awards are available, which will be applied to a waiver of registration fees in lieu of travel fees since AN21 is virtual. Applications are due June 21, 2021, learn more and apply here. Please talk to your research mentor and department head about other funding opportunities.
