AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science & Technology Policy Fellowships are the premier opportunity for outstanding mathematicians, scientists, and engineers to learn firsthand about policymaking while contributing to American government using their STEM mindset. The yearlong fellowship runs from September through August, with a class of nearly 300 fellows who represent a broad range of backgrounds, disciplines, and career stages. Engaging with policymakers, administrators, and leaders of thought, fellows broaden their networks and career paths. After the fellowship, they become members of a strong corps of 3,000+ alumni — policy-savvy leaders in academia, government, industry, and the nonprofit arena. Learn more and apply to become a fellow today.
