Monear Makvandi

Monear Makvandi of Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) is an infectious disease epidemiologist with experience in emerging/re-emerging infectious disease surveillance and outbreak response. At SNL, she leads the development and implementation of strategic and sustainable biological risk reduction through enhanced laboratory security, improved diagnostic methods, infectious disease control, and health system strengthening.
