Malgorzata Peszynska

Malgorzata Peszynska is a professor of mathematics at Oregon State University (OSU). She received her Ph.D. in 1992 from the University of Augsburg in Germany and has held positions at the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw University of Technology, Purdue University, University of Texas at Austin, and National Science Foundation. She is a 2020 American Association for the Advancement of Science Honorary Fellow, the recipient of the 2021 SIAM Activity Group on Geosciences Prize and 2022 USU Champion of Science Dean’s Award, and the 2022-2024 Joel Davis Faculty Scholar at OSU. She was also a SIAM honoree for Women's History Month in 2023.  More information about her research, publications, and students can be found on her website.
