Giulia Guidi

Giulia Guidi is a Ph.D. student in computer science at the University of California, Berkeley and a graduate research assistant in the Computational Research Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Her research focuses on the development of a novel efficient algorithm to de novo assemble genomes using long-read sequencing data. Guidi received both her M.Sc. in biomedical Engineering and B.Sc. in biomedical engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Her research interests are high-performance computing, computational genomics, and applied mathematics.
