David Shmoys

David Shmoys is the Laibe/Acheson Professor and director of the Center for Data Science for Enterprise and Society at Cornell University. The primary focus of his research is the design and analysis of efficient algorithms for discrete optimization problems, particularly approximation algorithms for NP-hard and other computationally intractable problems.
