Calls for Proposals at NSF


   Updated program solicitations are available for the following programs sponsored by the National Science Foundation:

• Human and Social Dynamics: The HSD priority area fosters breakthroughs in understanding the dynamics of human action and development, as well as knowledge about organizational, cultural, and societal adaptation and change. The FY 2008 competition will include three emphasis areas: agents of change; dynamics of human behavior; and decision making, risk, and uncertainty. • Interdisciplinary Training for Undergraduates in Biological and Mathematical Sciences: The goal of the UBM activity is to enhance undergraduate education and training at the intersection of the biological and mathematical sciences and to better prepare undergraduate biology or mathematics students to pursue graduate study and careers in fields that integrate the mathematical and biological sciences. The core of the activity is jointly conducted long-term research experiences for interdisciplinary teams of at least two undergraduates from departments in the biological and mathematical sciences.
