SIAM JOURNAL ON IMAGING SCIENCES

Volume I, Issue I will publish in March!

Editor-in-Chief: Guillermo Sapiro, University of Minnesota

The SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences (SIIMS) covers all areas of imaging sciences, broadly interpreted. SIIMS provides a broad authoritative source for fundamental results in imaging sciences, with a unique combination of mathematics and applications. SIIMS is mathematically and computationally based, and offers a unique forum to highlight the commonality of methodology, models, and algorithms among diverse application areas of imaging sciences.

SIIMS covers a broad range of areas, including but not limited to image formation, image processing, image analysis, computer graphics, computer vision, visualization, image understanding, pattern analysis, machine intelligence, remote sensing, geoscience, signal processing, medical and biomedical imaging, and seismic imaging.

SIAM JOURNAL ON APPLIED DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS

Editor-in-Chief: Tasso J. Kaper, Boston University

Since the submission of the first paper for publication in April 2001, the SIAMJournal on Applied Dynamical Systems (SIADS) has proven a groundbreaking success story. Now publishing papers to its 7th volume, this peer-reviewed, all-electronic journal boasts an impact factor of 1.703, 10th of 150 journals in ISI’s Journal Citation Report Mathematics, Applied category.

SIADS publishes research articles on the mathematical analysis and modeling of dynamical systems and its application to the physical, engineering, life, and social sciences. The use of color, animated visualizations, and internal linking is strongly encouraged where it enhances the exposition, but papers without these enhancements are accepted as well; review is based on research content.

Call for papers

Submission of manuscripts, for consideration for SIADS publication, is accepted at siads.siam.org. Authors are encouraged to submit their work enhanced with movies, color images, and animations. Supplemental file types accepted include TIF, JPEG, GIF, Animated GIF, PostScript, Encapsulated PostScript, Photoshop, Audio, MPEG, and Quicktime. Complete submission information and guidelines for authors are available at www.siam.org/journals/siads/authors.php.

Members of the dynamical systems community are encouraged to suggest SIADS to colleagues as an excellent outlet for their work.
